All is pretty well set for the Convention coming next week to Churchville.  Tent City is up, the various meeting places are confirmed, etc. and we are still somewhat sane!  Any one can find the tentative schedule for the week on our web site churchvillefire.net.

    The kickoff dinner is next Wednesday nite to be held at the Bergen Fire Department recreation hall. You must have reservations to attend. All committee members have received mailings, and must RSVP, or you will not eat!  Forrest's recognition and installation Banquet are Saturday nite at the Churchville Fire Hall.  Tickets are $20.00 per person with reservations made through 2nd Vice President Leo Grenier, 11630 Genesee Street, Alden, New York.  His phone number is 716-937-6347. Do not delay in getting your reservations in.

    I, as your Trustee, will be serving roast beef on ' weck Thursday evening at 5:30 P.M.  Any one from the County is invited. This meal is in co-operation with our Steering Committee, Gates-Chili Fire District and Barnard Exempts to promote Bill Nichols for FASNY 2nd VP in 2008.  We will have hospitality and food available  throughout the Convention.

    The Memorial Service is Friday morning at 9:00 AM with the Service Awards commencing immediately following. The heroism Award was won by 4 firefighters from Point Pleasant for a fire rescue last year.

    Come out and join us for  fun, entertainment, and training next week in Churchville as we host the WNY Annual Convention of 2007.

    The Parade is Friday night at 7:00 PM sharp, line-up from 5:30.  There will be live entertainment both Thursday and Friday in the Festival tent. I will try to answer any questions you may have.
