Safety harness a device to aid firefighters egress upper floors of a burning structure. Hope the confusion over the issue be resolved before legislation is passed. Why should exterior fire fighters need a harness at $250.00 a unit? Now the item mandates all firefighters have one.
Job protection while answering calls. Passed in the House action should be taken this year. This protection for lost time payment will apply of the firefighters employer has no pre-existing regulation against this practice.
