Thank You - This past week a long time supporter of the Monroe County Emergency Services left his position as Monroe Country Fire Coordinator.  Ed Riley has been a tireless advocate for both Fire and EMS and has been a very good supporter of the activities in the Third Battalion.

Third Battalion EMS Administers meeting - The meeting scheduled for Wednesday, April 23 has been moved to Wednesday, April 30.  I understand that this change will create conflicts in scheduling for some and I apologize for this change.  Details on this meeting will be sent out to the Operations Officers.   To insure everyone can plan ahead, the May meeting is scheduled for May 28th at 1900 at the East Rochester Amb.

Plan for Success - The upcoming months bring large events to all our communities and the early planing by Emergency Services helps to make these Golf Tournaments, Festivals,  Support Walks and other event's a success. Please get involved early and support these activities in the planning and helping to staff these fun events all summer.

St Baldrick - The yearly Shave a Emergency Service Person for Charity is again being sponsored by the St Baldricks Society, which supports Childhood Cancer Research.  Many local Emergency Service Personnel support this local cause, including SEQ's own Eric Ledwin. Please support this valuable cause and if you want to help Eric lose his hair, go to https://www.stbaldricks.org/get_involved/donate.html?ParticipantKey=2008-47619  to make a donation.  This years event will be held on April 26, 2008.
