Smile of a Child -  The Rochester community has long been a supporter of the Special Olympics and this season we have the privilege of hosting the 2008 Winter Games.  Your help is needed to provide a safe event for these Special Athletes, while participating in a variety of locations thruout the Rochester area.
This event will be held during the weekend of February 9th, with a majority of the EMS needs being on Saturday, when 36 EMS positions could be filled to assist local Ambulance(s), by providing First Response EMS at the event sites.

Please contact Drew Roche, who is coordinating these EMS Standbys at 520-5405 or firedoc1976@tmail.com ,  by February 1, 2008 to allow for applications,  background checks and necessary information and supplies to be taken care of prior to these events.  You will be provided with equipment to supplement your personal EMS resources.
