ERFD ColorGuard Pasta Dinner - The ERFD invites everyone in Emergency Services to support their ColorGuard at their "All You Can Eat" Pasta Dinner on Sunday, April 6, 2008 from 1200 to 1600 hours at the ERFD Fire Station. This fund-raiser will feature REAL Italian Sauce , for Adult - $6.00 and Child - $3.00 pre-sale and Adult - $6.00 and Child - $4.00 at the door. Thank you for your support of this activity
ETIN - Have you looked at the NEW training and information on ETIN lately. This valuable system provides both Emergency Service notification, as well as continuos training for your personnel and agencies use. Also familiarize yourself with the program Pictometry, which is pictures of every address, taken via aircraft, in Monroe County for your use in locating buildings/properties in the community. While you are learning this exciting program, look at 138 Cedarwood Terrace, Roc, paying close attention to all the different views of this address (North. South, East and West), as well as the surrounding streets to see a developing incident.
CFR Class - The Third Battalion CFR class will be held starting on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 1900 hours, hosted at Perinton Ambulance. We welcome these new members in their first step into the exciting science of EMS.
Third Battalion Training Meeting - The Third Battalion Training Officers will also meet at Perinton Ambulance, starting at 1900 hours. This is a CHANGE in location from the originally announced site. This will allow our Training Officers to welcome and introduce themselves to the CFR class, to help them as they start this training process. Our guest presenter that evening will be Sheri Adam from the OPC.
STEP - This yearly educational weekend is just two (2) weeks away and the excitement is growing for the events that will fill both days. The speakers and activities associated with this event help to highlight and stimulate the many exciting things going on in EMS in the Rochester and surrounding areas.
